Our CS:GO Wishlist At Rpgah

Friday, August 18, 2017

The Counter-Strike community is needy. Valve provides us a cookie cutter, and we are going to spit it out then demand another like it were our god-given birthright. Occasionally we get mad even when we get what we've been asking for. (See: the R8, StatTrak Music Kits, revamped Nuke, reworked audio.)

The Role of the In-Game Leader in CS:GO

Thursday, August 17, 2017

The in-game leader place is in a very strange place in CS:GO. While all pro teams have in-game leaders, it's well worth noting that pro play, generally speaking, has moved away from the strict tactical approach that has dominated the scene in previous eras. Shot calling appears to be much more free form, based around skill and team play.

The Great Rifle Debate: M4A4 or M4A1-S?

Tuesday, August 15, 2017

When CS:GO was released in August of 2012, the M4A4 rifle was the primary Counter-Terrorist assault rifle, replacing the M4A1 from prior versions of CS. The M4A1 offered players the choice of switching between silenced and unsilenced shooting modes in Counter-Strike: Source and 1.6, but the M4A4 of CS:GO scrapped the silencer altogether.

If we look at the category of "firearms you should only use in certain scenarios," the undisputed king of CS:GO is your game's absurd taser, the Zeus x27. It's got a range that is just better than the knife, and just fires one shot before you need to drop it. It's a weird weapon, to say the least, and today we're going to be speaking about how to use it as effectively as possible.

The Benefits of Taking a Break from CS:GO

Saturday, August 12, 2017

There was a time when I'd play CS:GO for hours at a time on a daily basis. At one point, I even had aspirations of being a professional player. Lately, however, I discovered that I usually ended up enjoying the game out of boredom. I was not having fun how I used to. Two days ago, I decided it was time for me take a break from playing CS:GO entirely. What happened?

When we talk gaming strategy, there are quite a few factors we have to consider -- the purpose of the round(s), the opponents' moving patterns, the abilities of our teammates, the weapons we can afford to purchase and so on. Frequently, we find ourselves reduced on health. Usually this would happen in the middle of the round or when we're lucky -- at the very end.

By name, H1Z1: King of the Kill might sound much like a playground game you used to play, but trust us, it is a far cry from the skirmishes of your youth. Instead of grazed knees and grass stains you are going to be competing with almost 200 bloodthirsty survivalists, all armed to the teeth with machetes and assault rifles.

In this post I would love to discuss playing on a respawn server. There are a couple of points which have to be mentioned and talked about in more detail: why do we actually like to play this mode so much, how can we make the most out of it with respect to developing skills and getting better in the game, and what are the possible risks involved with becoming too used to playing respawn.

In this post we will discuss one of the easiest things you may do to enjoy and increase your gaming sessions more. But this discussion is not going to be all about "fun and play" as we will locate a new way to reflect on our skills and expertise. Recording videos from the sport is as easy, as it would be to play with them back as well as export, convert, edit and share them.

You will have to face off with hostile players, man-eating zombies, and hungry wild life in order to live the anarchy. So you might be perplexed why H1Z1 players have to speak "S" words in Chinese for survival? And what is "S" words?

When there's one thing most CS:GO players share, it's the desire we have all had at some point or another of being a professional player. While the prospect of playing video games for a living might seem easy to those unfamiliar with esports, lovers of any aggressive title understand that it's incredibly difficult. The first, and possibly toughest step, is finding a good team.
